Shark Island Productions is an award-winning independent documentary production company based in Sydney. Our films all have extensive education and outreach components and are developed as part of broader initiatives to make a significant social impact. We create strategic partnerships with the philanthropic and not-for-profit sector, to educate and bring about social change.

Our documentary credits include THE OASIS, IN THE COMPANY OF ACTORS, ALONE ACROSS AUSTRALIA, and WOODSTOCK FOR CAPITALISTS.  We have recently completed two short fiction films POLLY AND ME and WALL BOY as part of the ongoing education and outreach campaign for THE OASIS.

We are currently making two feature length documentaries PAUL KELLY - STORIES OF ME and OUR LITTLE GARDEN, and a short documentary THE SOLDIER.

We manage the Shark Island Foundation which supports the Shark Island Documentary Fund, Documentary Australia Foundation and a variety of other initiatives.
